I thought CBS bought Fender in January of 1965 and that the last true pre CBS Stratocasters were made in 1964. Please let me know. If this is really a pre CBS I am definetely interested. Thank you.

I think somebody there has been trying to call me and I have purposely not answered because I couldn't recognize the area code and thought it was someone I didn't need to talk to. This is among the last good strats made by Fender.Missing a green guard to be a pre - CBS,a very cool strat. I am sure the futur owner will have lot of fun.
